Last night was all about Benjamin Zephaniah Future Writers Competition 2024 by Birmingham City University.

With over 2500 applications submitted, I’m thrilled to announce that I was amongst the top 10 shortlisted in the years 1,2,3 category and received a certificate for my brilliant piece “My Mummy” – a poem I started writing in October 2023 aged 5

It was a fantastic opportunity for me to join other talented kids, adults and great personalities across the UK who are shaping the literary world with their extraordinary talents and above all Benjamin’s beautiful wife Qian Zephaniah to celebrate the incredibly remarkable life of Benjamin Zephaniah ❤️👏🎊👏🎈🤩
